Update
Dad had his CT scan today, the goods news is they didn't find anyting anywhere else. :-) So that is good news. Now if we can get him to keep positive we'll be in much better shape. Now they will go to the doctor and see what his options are. My mom sounded so good when she called to tell me. She sounded positive and hopeful. Dad talked to an ole Navy buddy who has had cancer for a long time. He told Dad of another Navy buddy that has colon cancer. He told dad the man was out dancing all the time. I'm hoping that dad will see this as a possibility.

Georgia,
I'm so sorry to hear your dad's news, but more than pleased that the CT scan went so well.
My FIL has lung cancer, diagnosed 2 years ago, but they reckoned it had been the same for many years. He isn't having any treatment and refused operation. There has been no alteration in the cancer, in fact they can't tell the X-rays apart. My Gt Aunt had stomach cancer diagnosed over 15 years before she died of old age, again it wasn't an aggressive one.
It's always different, because everyone is individual and so is the cancer, but the CT scan at least was positive news, so hopefully he'll have more positive news. I'll cross my fingers and toes for y'all.
love
Bex
