Borders Pagans
Yes Monday night is Borders Pagans. It's always enjoyable and nice to be around folks. Last night the talk was about Deity and letting Deity take over. Drawing down if you will.
I listened to one lady speaking of drawing down and I was again shocked by people's response. She said deity came through her and spoke with some friends who had been doing things they shouldn't. Deity told them all about it. She said these people would speak to her anymore. She said they didn't say anything bad about her but they were afraid of her. My mind grabbed that and ran with it. Now why would you be afraid of your friend just because deity came through them and smacked you upside the head for being an idiot? She said they were afraid it would happen again. My mind was thinking so. That would mean that the people chose to ignore the first smack by deity. Now who is at fault for that? lol
Then we got to the Heathen. He is such a talkative guy. Getting a word in edge wise is very hard. So he told us that he hardly ever dreams. He even went and had himself tested and they said he doesn't dream often. lol Anyway we were still talking about deity and them either pulling you to where they are or coming here. Well he said he decided that he wasn't sure about his pantheon. He set a challenge to them prove you are really here. He said he found himself sitting at a long table with three sitting opposite to him. Of course we asked who the 3 were. Thor, Hel and one I didn't recognize. He said it was a rather unpleasant tribunal. He said they asked him to tell them what he believed and then made him explain why because just saying wasn't good enough. This guy had been in the Navy and said he'd been chewed out by a couple of Captains and one Admiral and it was ugly. He said this tribunal was much worse than any of those he had faced before. Then he said I'll never make the mistake of asking deity to prove they exist. hehe
We ended up going to Friday's for a bite to eat. Borders closes at 10:00 so the meeting formally ends then. Usually more and deeper conversations take place after we get to Friday's. Last night I had a couple of guys sitting next to me that were discussing Quantum Physics. LOL It was pretty interesting but confusing too.
We got news that 2 of our people are getting married next year. The guy is a life long bachelor so it's big. lol
I don't know how they do the eating thing though. Usually we are getting food by 10:30 or 10:45... That is just so late to eat. I had a cup of soup because I was a little hungry and couldn't think of anything else. lol Everything else was a little too heavy for sleep on.
